This blog post have been done in collaboration with The Workshop in Denmark together with Hanne Kathrine Andersen a talented furrier, fur teacher and product developer who has earlier been working as a project manager and product developer at Saga Furs.
It all started with an idea and inspiration

This re design project started with a vintage lamb coat in Hannes studio. She got an idea and decided to combine the fox colours of an dyed Shadow Fox and a Colicot Fox from Fashionfinfur.
The working process – How to make a fur vest on a lamb coat
Picture 1. Make the pattern and mark where the panels of fox / leather goes
Picture 2. Nail the Fox skin
Picture 3. Cut the pour part away
Picture 4. Mark Fox and leather and cut it
Picture 5. Divide it in 2 and you are ready for sewing
Picture 6. Hit the fur sewing machine

Picture 9. I sew hugs and eye in by hand
Picture 10. The finished vest – front and from the backside. I decided not to have lining in because I like the backside with sewing and the imprint the lambskin has.
